Tarik Sidani, D.O.

Dr Sidani was born in Springdale, AR and grew up in Rogers. While at Rogers High School he was an all-conference basketball player for the Mounties and also active in the National Honor Society.

After graduating Rogers High School in 1994, Dr Sidani accepted a full academic scholarship to the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville, and was selected to participate in the Fulbright Honors Program at the U of A. Dr Sidani pursued pre-medical studies at the U of A, and graduated with honors in 1998, earning a bachelors of science in Biology.

Dr Sidani then completed four years of medical school in Kansas City, MO at the Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences (KCUMB). During this time he was involved with numerous community activities such as screening physicals for elementary school children.

His postgraduate medical training then continued in St Louis, MO at Des Peres Hospital, which is affiliated with St Louis University. During the past five years Dr Sidani was the team physician for two high schools in the St Louis area, and participated in screening physicals for hundreds of high school athletes. "It was my love for sports which got me into orthopedic surgery, and that is one of the areas I will focus my practice on." Dr Sidani also specializes in joint replacement surgery," with the newer minimally invasive techniques, and materials, such as metal on metal, we are seeing patients recover faster and implants are lasting longer".

Dr Sidani has been married for 6 years to his high school sweetheart Risa. They have one daughter, Sydney, who turned 2 in March. "We are both excited to be returning back to Arkansas, close to friends and family, and couldn't think of a better community to raise and expand our family than Harrison."
